It is a red, violet, and yellow note that is dated 2011, bear the signatures of Hector Valdez Albizu and Vicente Bengoa, and measures 158 x 67 mm. Its obverse side features bank seal, mahogany flowers, Palacio Nacional (National Palace) building in Santo Domingo and mahogany flowers. Its reverse side shows mahogany flowers, Alcazar de Colon (Diego Colón castle) museum building in Santo Domingo. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized MIL PESOS DOMINICANOS and a watermark of Juan Pablo Duarte and electrotype 1000 on pixelated background.
