This uncirculated 1,000 Zambian kwacha note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Zambia. It is a red-violet polymer banknote that is dated 2008, bears the signature of Bank Governor Dr. Caleb M. Fundanga, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms, a dove, a jacaranda tree, and a fish eagle perched on a branch. Its reverse side depicts the Freedom Statue in Lusaka, an aardvark, and a sorghum farmer on a tractor. Because the note is made of polymer, it does not have a security thread. However, it has a watermark that shows a fish eagle. The details of the note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
