It is a blue, orange, purple, and green note that is dated 1970-1979 ND, bear the signatures of Mario Henrique Simonsen and Paulo Hortencio Pereira Lira, and measures 152 x 69 mm. Its obverse side features Emperor Dom Pedro I. Its reverse side shows PRAÇA 15 - RIO SÉCULO XVIII (square 15, Rio de Janeiro, 18th century), with boats, soldiers, and horses. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of Emperor Dom Pedro I. This note was withdrawn on 30 June 1984.
