The Seychelles 100 Rupee banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 2001 ND in red and orange color combinations. The banknote is made of paper that measures 151 x 75 mm. The banknotes obverse depicts the coat of arms of Seychelles, the nations map, a vieille babone cecile fish, a pitcher plant, and a gold foil sailfish. On the reverse of the note are cowrie shells lining up at the upper left, a palm tree, bridled tern birds, and a land turtle. The banknote comes with a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a watermark that reflects a turtle, and a registration device in the form of a turtle. It also carries the signature of Francis Chang-Leng. This particular Seychelles 100 rupee banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
