This uncirculated 2 Liri Malta note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Malta. It is a red note that is dated L.1967 (1994), bears the signature of Michael Bonello, and measures 138 x 66.5 mm. Its obverse side features a bank coat of arms, doves as registration devices, United Nations emblem, woman holding rudder and Roman mosaic designs. Its reverse side shows Banka Guratali buildings in Rabat, Gozo and Mdina, doves and shield with a crown. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of female head with a fortress as crown. This note was demonetized on 31 January 2018.
