The Maldives 100 Rufiyaa Banknote was issued by the Maldives Monetary Authority in 2015. The note is predominantly red. Its obverse features a seated women wearing a traditional dress (Libaas), working of the neckline threading (Hiru) of a similar dress. It also depicts a group of locals in a traditional attire and an underprint of the old Dhivehi alphabet (Dives akuru). The reverse is in a vertical orientation and features an early Dhivehi scripture (Dambidu Lomafanu). The note does not have security thread. Its watermark shows a shadow image of the coat of arms. It also has a registration device in the form of the denomination. It measures 150 x 70 mm. This polymer banknote has been given a grade of a 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
