This uncirculated 5 Liri Maltanote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Malta. It is a blue note that is dated L.1967 (1994), bears the signature of Anthony Galdes, and measures 145 x 69 mm. Its obverse side features a bank coat of arms, doves as registration devices, United Nations emblem, woman holding rudder and Roman mosaic designs. Its reverse side shows an extract from the 1802 Maltese declaration of rights, Torri Ta’L-istandard (Mdina Gate) and doves. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of female head with a fortress as crown. This note was demonetized on 31 January 2018.
