This uncirculated 5,000 Comorian franc note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Comoros. It is a purple note that is dated 2006, bear the signatures of Dr. Younoussa Imani and Remy Rioux, and measures 138 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features the Karthala volcano crater on Grande Comore, a poem, and a portrait of President Said Mohamed Cheikh. Its reverse side shows a baobab tree (Adansonia digitata), a nautilus shell, and a poem by Mbaye Trambwe.
