This uncirculated 5,000 Japanese yen note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Japan in 1957. It is a multicoloured note that measures 169 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side features a portrait of Prince Shotoku. Its reverse side shows the Bank of Japan building. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a serial number with a double letter prefix and a watermark of Prince Shotoku with 5000.
